O ALFABETO DOS PÁSSAROS
Nix is a six-year-old girl full of questions for which she has no answers: adopted by Spanish parents, she cannot overcome the pain of being abandoned by her Chinese mother. To appease her daughter's torments, the adoptive mother creates magical stories about her origins, but Nix is convinced that the only way to be happy is to return to the womb, where she can finally discover herself. A story about the pain of rejection and family love, but most importantly, how imagination can heal the pain. The illustrations were all made by letterings cut out of newspapers and books, composing the graphic story.
